Level 100 Candidates
West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
Grade C6 in the best 6 subjects, to include three core subjects and three electives. Core subjects must include English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies.
Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE)
Credit passes (A_D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics plus three (3) relevant elective subjects
GBCE Candidates
Credit Passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
General Certificate of Education (GCE)
Advanced Level: Passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better). Also, the applicant must have had credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English, Mathematics and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject for Science students.
Mature Applicants
The applicant must be at least 25 years old, and show proof of age with a birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of date of birth which is at least 5 years old at the time of application. Applicants must pass the Mature Students Entrance Examination comprising a General Paper (including English and Mathematics) and a General Paper.
Other Qualifications are acceptable for admission on a case by case basis.
Level 200 Candidates
University/Tertiary Diploma
Holders of Diplomas in a relevant domain from a recognized tertiary institution are eligible to apply for admission. Such applicants must additionally have either GCE ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language and Mathematics OR SSSCE/WASSCE credit passes in English Language and Core Mathematics
Level 300 Candidates
Category A: Higher National Diploma (HND) holders.
Applicants must have graduated with a good HND certificate (i.e. at least 2nd Class Lower Division).
In addition, such applicants MUST have WASSCE Grade C6 in the best 6 subjects, to include three core subjects and three electives (core subjects must include English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies) OR Grade C or 4 in five GCE/IGCSE or Grade 6 in GCE ‘O’ Level subjects including English and Mathematics.
Transfer Students
Transfer options are available on a case by case basis.
Foreign Qualification
All foreign applicants will have their qualifications for consideration for admission referred to Ghana Tertiary Education Commission for determination of equivalences and eligibility for admission to tertiary institutions in Ghana
